Description

This PTFE glass cloth tape combines a woven fiberglass substrate with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating to produce a 3 mil total thickness tape with a low-friction, non-stick surface. The PTFE face resists adhesive buildup and releases cleanly from films, foils, and plastics, making it effective wherever uncoated surfaces would foul or bond under heat and pressure.

Typical applications include lining heat platen surfaces, protecting hot wire contacts, and shielding components on heat sealing and impulse sealing equipment. Food processing lines, packaging machinery, and composite manufacturing environments all rely on this tape type to prevent material sticking during high-temperature cycles.

The woven fiberglass backing maintains dimensional stability under sustained elevated temperatures, while the PTFE coating handles direct contact with adhesives and heated tooling without degrading. Each roll is sold individually and weighs approximately 0.66 lbs.
