This 2-inch wide, 18-yard roll of PTFE glass cloth tape combines a woven fiberglass carrier with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating to produce a 3 mil total thickness. The PTFE surface delivers low-friction, non-stick performance that resists adhesive transfer and holds up under repeated high-temperature exposure without degrading.
Packaging machinery operators use it to line heat sealing bars and platens, where adhesive films and coatings would otherwise bond to bare metal. It also sees regular use on conveyor belt surfaces, pressing equipment, and hot wire contacts in textile, plastics, and food processing environments where both heat resistance and clean release are required simultaneously.
